Located just over an hour from Sydney, NSW’s largest water theme park is the place for day long thrills and spills. Jam-packed with water rides and attractions there is something at Jamberoo Action Park for all ages.
Recently the Park just launched two new rides. The Funnel Web is the biggest water ride of its kind in the world. Guests travel at 30km/h in complete darkness, twisting, turning and free-falling until they lose all orientation before being spat into a huge funnel! Also, Banjo’s Billabong has just opened which is the largest interactive water play area in the Southern Hemisphere. It is entirely Australiana themed and is a multiple platform structure with over 198 different water features including slides, valves, cranks, cannons, bridge climbs and spray features.
In addition, existing rides include Billabong Beach where little kids can revel with its heated shallow pools, mini water slides, jets and tiny make believe critters; The Taipan a five person water slide ride; Surf Hill a wave-like speed slide with an 18 metre drop – with eight lanes of fun guests can race their friends; and Outback Bay, a 2.5 megalitre wave pool with waves of up to 1.5 metres high.
As well as all the fun rides, Jamberoo Action Park has a number of lush picnic spots where families can set-up camp and enjoy a lunch together during the day. There are also various places to purchase lunch at Jamberoo Action Park including Bombora Seafood with a great range of tasty favourites including fish ‘n’ chips and calamari; The Loft which is an adults retreat – a café offering a number of healthy options and Burger Barn which offers a variety of Tasty Burgers.
